Guy Software in association with RegNow offers you the opportunity to earn 20% commission by promoting and selling PlanBee® Critical Path Project Management on your website |  |
PlanBee (basic) sells for $29.98 (USD) and PlanBee Pro sells for $69.98(USD) so your commission can be up to $14 per copy sold.
When you have your RegNow affiliate account number you may set up links to permit your users to download the trial version and/or buy a licence to the paid-up version.
You may use the links in the PlanBee Affiliate Example Page to set up information, download and purchase links. If you wish, you may copy the whole page to your website and it will work. You need only to change the affiliate=20109 references in the links to your own affiliate number.
You will be eligible for commission when somebody who clicked on any of the links in that page buys a paid-up licenced copy of PlanBee. This still applies if they click through to the Guy Software PlanBee page and/or download the trial version now and only come back to purchase at a later date (up to a year later).
This happens not only if they come back to your page to buy, but also if they buy from the Guy Software web site or from the "Buy Now" button in the evaluation copy. When somebody clicks on one of the links given, RegNow places a cookie on that machine to identify it as "your" customer for Guy Software products and RegNow's order system recognises it when the person buys.
Leakage Prevention: Although Guy Software uses several e-commerce service providers, when someone with a RegNow affiliate cookie set comes to our website, they see only the RegNow purchase links in order to ensure that only you receive the commission to which you are entitled. All Guy Software order links for PlanBee pass through the AffiliateCheck function on the RegNow site to ensure this.
You may also create your own custom build by downloading http://www.guysoftware.com/plnb20109.exe and changing 20109 to your own affiliate number (e.g. if you are affiliate 1234 you would change it to plnb1234.exe) and hosting the result on your site. Since the affiliate number from the installer file name becomes embedded in the BuyNow links, there is a slight risk that a customer will change the installer file name before doing the install. That is not possible when WE produce the custom build for you.
For affiliates who host a custom build or otherwise provide extra promotional effort we will increase the commission from the default 20% to 30%.Although the example will work correctly if you copy it to your website unchanged you may wish to customise it or to replace it entirely. In particular you may wish to delete the description "bullet point" table and replace it with something more specific to your own client base. Just don't change the link formats, since doing this might inhibit the setting of the RegNow affiliate cookie and eventually prevent RegNow from knowing to whom to pay the commission on a sale.
You may not wish to include the Buy Now button as well as the text links. They work slightly differently in that when somebody clicks the button, they are given a choice of PlanBee (basic) or PlanBee Pro. The text links are specific to a version. Additionally the text links will work correctly even if a user has blocked or deleted cookies.
